Through college and law school, Clay had the opportunity to work in one of the largest personal injury firms in the State of Arkansas. He was able to see from the ground level up how a personal injury case was developed from initial contact to resolution.  After law school, he worked in a few different areas of the law, but he knew that his passion was always in the personal injury field.  

In 2020, Clay decided to pursue this passion and start his own firm focusing exclusively on personal injury through civil litigation. Clay started this firm with just himself and one paralegal, but he knew that complex cases needed a team of attorneys. Since the inception of the Sexton Firm, the team has grown to four attorneys and a full support staff.  

Clay’s passion for helping his clients has translated into the philosophy that he teaches his team, which is that the clients come before the firm.  

Being injured in an accident is really difficult, not only physically, but mentally.
